Jazz was made for dancing.
This radio show is made for listeners who love jazz.
Jazz Hour is hosted by Sam Carroll, and showcases the best of swinging jazz. We specialise in jazz from the 1920s - 1950s, with forays into modern recreationist bands. This is the music that made lindy hoppers swing out, balboa dancers shuffle, and jazz dancers move.
The Jazz Hour interrupts the music now and then with an occasional guest, and discussions about the issues of the jazz dancing day.

Sam DJs for lindy hoppers. She's been DJing since 2004, and got into lindy hop in 1998 because she loved jazz. Now she runs large dance events with lots of live music, as well as DJing. Before the face to face fun stopped Sam DJed, and conducted workshops for DJs, all over Australia and the world.
Covid19 has challenged jazz, but jazz has won.
